All of the products available here at Fairbloom’s Cottage are made of 100% cotton, linen, or sustainable bamboo fabrics. Other components include; glass, wood or upcycled plastic!

Sustainability and working to be as close to zero-waste as is possible is critically important to me as an individual, and as fabric artisan. Being able to find creative, permanent reuses for materials that would otherwise be added to a landfill is a special joy and accomplishment for me. A perfect example of this, is how I divert intended single use plastic food bags into the crinkle layer of my handmade crinkle tab toys! Cleaned, sanitized and safely enclosed within it’s fabric shell, the plastic that would have been added to a landfill to hang around for around 500 years is now a fun toy that provides stimulation and entertainment for years to come.

Every item that I make and offer as a product has been inspired by my own stash of permeant sustainable goods that I use throughout my daily life; at home, on the go with food allergies, with my pets or at work with the children and families I work closely with as a Nanny and Household Manager. This means that not only am I, my best customer and test subject, I also troubleshoot my products as needed to upgrade them and make them as functional and long lasting as possible before I release them to my product lines for my customers to purchase. I am committing to always offering the highest quality at affordable prices, because accessibility means that everyone that wants to make the switch to sustainable, greener, zero-waste alternatives can.
